Edmilson Rejoins CSL, Agrees to Two-Year Contract Extension

Edmilson has signed a two-year contract extension with the Chinese Super League (CSL) side Shanghai Shenhua, the club announced on Tuesday.

The Brazilian forward, who joined the club in January 2018, will now stay at the club until June 2020. The new deal is believed to be worth around $4 million, according to reports.

Edmilson has been one of the most consistent performers for Shanghai Shenhua this season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in 19 appearances so far. He has also helped the team secure their place in the AFC Champions League playoffs.

The 35-year-old striker has made over 200 appearances for various clubs in his career, including spells with Inter Milan, Benfica, and Galatasaray. He is known for his technical skills and ability to score important goals in crucial matches.
